Full-mouth restoration on 4 implants

“All Teeth on 4 Implants” is an innovative dental restoration technique in which 10–12 teeth in a single jaw are restored using just 4 implants, instead of the 6–8 traditionally required. The implants are placed at a specific angle in the area of the patient’s jawbone with the greatest bone density, so bone grafting is usually not required. Within 24 hours of implant placement, a stable and aesthetic temporary fixed dental prosthesis is attached to the implants, allowing patients to enjoy their restored smile immediately. Later, once the implants have integrated, the temporary prosthesis is replaced with a permanent one.

Teeth restored using this method not only look exceptionally aesthetic and natural, but their chewing function is also restored 100 percent. Due to the simplicity of the procedure, its safety, and the use of materials that are well-tolerated by the body, this method of treating edentulism can be used for patients of any age.

Why is it worth restoring teeth using the "All on 4" method?

  • Quick results. All teeth are restored in just 24 hours, so you can enjoy your new smile right away.
  • Stability and functionality. Four implants provide a solid foundation for the bridge, ensuring your teeth are completely stable—you’ll be able to chew a variety of foods without any discomfort.
  • Natural aesthetics. The restored teeth will look just like your own, so you’ll feel confident with them and be able to smile and speak freely.
  • A long-term investment. Restoring your teeth will improve your overall well-being and quality of life, and with proper care, your restored teeth will last for decades.

What should you know before getting dental restoration?

A consultation is required before dental restoration, during which:

  • We will discuss your expectations;
  • We will assess the clinical situation, perform the necessary tests, and take a 3D X-ray;
  • We will prepare and present a detailed treatment plan to you;
  • We will answer all of your questions.

Modern technologies are used in the dental restoration process:

3D Computed Tomography

It allows for a precise assessment of the condition, structure, and anatomical features of the jawbone, helps select the optimal implant position, and ensures flawless prosthetic restoration and long-lasting results.

Intraoral scanner

Digitally scanning the structures of the teeth and oral cavity allows for the creation of highly accurate treatment plans and prosthetic models.

Virtual treatment planning

A procedure planned in advance using specialized software allows us to select the optimal implant parameters, avoid human error, ensure a less invasive procedure, and, even in the most complex cases, place the implant in such a way that the prosthesis can be precisely fitted onto it.

What makes the “All-on-4” dental restoration procedure at our clinic so special?

  • The Vilnius Dental Center employs highly qualified implantology specialists who are constantly improving their skills.
  • We use next-generation “Neodent” and “Straumann” implants for tooth restoration. This is an advanced choice that allows for the effective restoration of all dental functions. Made from pure Class 4 titanium, these dental implants are designed to achieve the best treatment results. Their unique design, improved surface properties, and ideal fixation ensure that these implants are suitable even for the most complex clinical situations.

THE PROCESS OF FULL-MOUTH DENTAL RESTORATION USING 4 IMPLANTS:

Consultation

During the consultation, the condition of the teeth and mouth is assessed, necessary examinations are performed, and a detailed treatment plan is developed and presented to the patient.

Implantation

After administering local anesthesia to the area of the jawbone with the highest bone density, four implants are placed at a specific angle.

Temporary dentures

A temporary prosthesis is attached to the implants.

Dental Restoration

Once the implants have successfully fused with the bone and become firmly anchored in the jawbone (after approximately 3–6 months), the temporary prosthesis is replaced with a permanent one, thereby perfectly restoring both the function and aesthetics of the teeth.

Svarbu žinoti

What are the risks of not getting your teeth restored?

Changes in appearance

Loss of aesthetic appeal in the smile. Missing teeth make the smile look unattractive, and trying to hide it causes facial expressions to fade.

Tooth shifting. If lost teeth are not replaced, the remaining teeth may begin to shift into the empty spaces, causing an irregular bite.

Changes in facial shape. Tooth loss can lead to bone loss in the jaw, causing the cheeks to hollow out and the lip line to droop, making a person look older.

Digestive disorders

Impaired chewing. Impaired chewing due to missing teeth can lead to digestive problems.

Incomplete digestion of food. Food that is not chewed thoroughly can interfere with the proper absorption of nutrients, leading to a weakened immune system and a decline in overall well-being.

Speech sound disorders

Unclear speech. Teeth play an important role in producing certain sounds, so losing them can disrupt their formation and cause a lisp.

A change in voice quality. Missing teeth can alter the airflow in the mouth, causing changes in voice quality and intonation.

Psychological challenges

Reduced self-confidence. Tooth loss often causes discomfort regarding one’s appearance, especially when smiling or speaking.

Social isolation. A lack of self-confidence can lead to giving up on favorite activities and withdrawing into oneself.

Increased sensitivity. A prolonged sense of inadequacy can lead to psychological problems; a person becomes more irritable, anxiety increases, and over time this can even lead to depression.
