The Vilnius Odontology Center cooperates with the TPF (Territorial Patient Funds), so you can get reimbursement for prosthetic services from the Patient Fund in your territory.
Who can expect this reimbursement?

  • persons who have reached retirement age;
  • children;
  • disabled or partially employed individuals.

If a dentist visually determines the need for dental prosthesis during a consultation, and person of retirement age, disabled or partially employed people and children require a more sophisticated treatment technology, then dentist sends persons of retirement age, disabled or partially employed people or children to the dentists consultation of secondary or tertiary level. The consultation, having decided that a more sophisticated treatment technology is required for the above-mentioned persons, issues Form No. 027/a with a conclusion on the need for higher compensation for dental prosthesis (in such cases the amount reimbursed – up to EUR 1272,31).

A person who wishes to receive dental prosthesis services reimbursed from the Compulsory Social Security Fund budget should apply to a dentist from the primary outpatient health care institution (hereinafter referred to as “POHCI”), where he (she) is registered. A person may also apply to a dentist from another health care institution licensed to provide dental care (aid) services, but in that case he (she) will have to pay for the advice provided.
